I think this fills the bill for a bubble mailer. It's very lightweight so it hardly increases your postage charges. We use such mailers in various sizes for virtually every gift that we send--even flat non-breakable items like calendars and books.

These mailers worked out perfectly for me as I used them to ship a huge amount of stuffed animals. I find them work really well giving stuff breathing room yet looking filled. The only negative (doubt if it is one really) is that upon sealing it and sometimes folding over the top flap the envelope was difficult trying to close. Maybe I had a couple right to the top flap but the bubble wrapped envelope turned bulky when trying to condense down the size from the top for a tight fit around an item.

Great Product

These mailing envelopes were just what needed to protect my important application. I liked that they were a litte oversized. The bubble quality was strong and durable. The closure was high quality and easy to use. I was able to add personal writing on the outside of the envelope without any tearing or punctures to the envelope. I will definitely use the remainder of the package of envelopes for similar mailings and to protect important documents. This is was a great buy...glad for my good buy!

Adequate for its purpose

I use Avery address labels and thankfully since I didn't go to the post office right away I noticed that the labels was 50% off. I pushed the label back down and again it came up. Eventually I attached the label with scotch tape so it wouldn't come off in transit. I also enclosed a piece of cardboard to stiffen the envelope4 to ensure that the DVDs inside wouldn't become damaged in transit. I thought that the envelop should have been made out of something sturdier since it was being used for CDs/DVDs.
