I purchased the product to hold a CD safely along with a note on a sheet of 8.5"x11" paper - which I didn't want to have to fold. The width given of 9.5"x11" is misleading. It does not accommodate a sheet of paper 8.5" wide. It doesn't accommodate an 11" length either.

The envelope is good for mailing books. However the envelope is difficult to seal on a straight line. It needs an extra fold at the top.
