I use these packets for multiple uses. Mainly for sending out CD or DVD's with our work explained on them. I have never had one damaged yet. They are light and do not add to postage cost which is important for as many as I send. I am presently sending out 40 DVD's of our orphan work in Russia with photos music and details of our work. I want them to get to their destination safely and this method has worked out for us. Our grandchildren love to get small items in them several times a year and we do not want them disappointed to receive them broken so we feel safe with the bubbles. Good produce for many our our mailing needs.
I have used about 15 of these and everyone has worked without a hitch. My customers have all been happy and have gotten their products via USPS undamaged.
Best used for light material. If used to ship a book which is what I used it mostly for the item does not hold very well and tends to puncture from outside also.
My business uses these to ship all sorts of small product and they work great. We learned to use packaging tape over the envelope seam after sealing it shut to ensure nothing is "accidentally" opened and lost during shipment.
