Unbelievably Strong!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. I didn't know they made a product this strong and it came at a perfect time. The wood panel on the front of my cabinets in front of my kitchen sink had come off when a plastic piece broke. I was unable to find a replacement and found that the wood was too hard to drill through or hammer a nail through and I couldn't figure out how I was going to put this back up. It is also supposed to be able to be removed when work is needed on the plumbing under the sink. When I received this I thought it was the perfect solution if it actually worked, but fully expected it to fall off within a few days. This is a heavy, solid piece of wood and it's on the sink where it gets wet every day. It has been up for awhile and still holds as strong as the first day I put it up. I am truly amazed and loving this product! It's holding strong but can be removed as needed and put right back when done and so much easier than any other options I had considered.

The best fastening tape I’ve ever used!

I bought the two roll box of clear Scotch Extreme Fastener tape for use on my RV trailer which experiences a series of earthquake-like events as we travel. It held everything I secured with it on a 1000 mile vacation and NOTHING moved or fell from horizontal or vertical surfaces inside and I used it to mount the remote control for the awning lights and a few other items on the outside. It wasn’t affected by weather and the clear tape is almost invisible when not in use. I’m strongly recommending it to everyone who will listen. Fantastic product!

Great alternative to nails and hangers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item from 3M to test, the first time I tried I only cut a one inch piece for both the wall and the item to attach to which in my case was a small fire extinguisher, when I awoke the next morning I had noticed that the fire extinguisher was on the floor, so I tried again and this time I cut both pices to three inches and that was five days ago and I have not had any problems since, I have removed it from the wall and replaced it without any problems. I would like to emphasize that it may take a little more fastener depending on the size and weight. Otherwise it is a great product to use instead of nails and hangers.

Scotch Extreme Fasteners - tight hold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in return for my honest review. Living in Florida, it is difficult to find a product that will hold and stick in the Florida heat and humidity. We used this product to hang solar lights outside on our screen porch. Previous attempts have not lasted very long, they've been easy enough to put up, but fall off quickly due to the heat and humidity. This product seems to be sticking tightly; my husband has even mentioned using it to hang Christmas lights this year.
Velcro products are expensive to purchase. This product comes with 10 feet of one inch Velcro rated to hold ten pounds. This much is enough for several large products and to have on hand in the garage for whenever it is needed so not only is it a pretty good deal but also one of those things you should just have in your garage along with a hammer and screw driver.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Next level of "velcro"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new extreme fasteners from Scotch. I was given a chance to review the product in exchange for my honest review. I'm super glad I was chosen, because I don't think I would have picked this up otherwise.
Gone is your traditional Velcro that easily wears out after a while. These lock in like velcro, but with super strength. They are made from plastic, so you don't end up with messy threads or loose tiny hooks like Velcro.
I also used it for a great 4 months before I wrote my review because I wanted to make sure it won't wear out after a month or 2. So far, it's still holding strong.
This is a great for if you want to be able to hang or hold something to a wall, with the added flexibility of removing & re-attaching it often.
One of the key features of these fasteners is that there is no "top" and "bottom" like Velcro. Both pieces are the same and you just need to press one piece to the other.
In the past, I have used the lighter duty one to attach a light remote to our wall. I love the concept and that it seems we are evolving from the old Velcro.

Works great when properly appled

Success for any tape applied product like this requires proper cleaning and de-greasing. Over years of RC model building, found that basic Lighter Fluid (applied in ventilated area) is best and evaporates fast. Over non-smooth surfaces outside, use an old toothbrush. And if this tape fails to hold objects, clean off all tape residues and now apply a light coat of medium CA or Gorilla glue to the new tapes. Hold in place (mask tape Gorilla glue). And don't expect decades of longevity for those outdoor applications exposed to elements of weather.

STRONG, need it stronger for fabric

I have trying to find an item to hold my two couch cushions in place when someone stands up. I live in Florida and hard to find items to use for the heat and humidity. Your products are amazing for no using nails, but nothing for fabric in long use. Help???

Strong adhesive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The adhesive on this product is very strong. I have used it to hold the edges of carpet to floor successfully and also to mount fabric to a flat surface. I would consider this to be some what permanent for mounting - the adhesive is so strong that it will likely pull the finish off anything it is adhered to. I imagine you could use heat and solvents to remove it, if needed.
