I did not know how to get the spool out to load the Scotch tape. I knew it had to come out but was not able to take it out. I asked three other people and not one of them could get it out. They were afraid they would break it. Finally I took it back to Staples and the girl at the service desk took it out easily. She took it out in the opposite direction by pulling where we had been pushing. I think some simple directions would have been very helpful. If they can include a plastic bag with directions to keep it away from children in ten different languages they could surely include directions for getting the spool out to load the tape.

I like the ease of installing a new roll of tape . the holder that slides to the side is very easy to use.

I needed a tape dispenser after years of using a useless plastic one. I decided to treat myself to a sturdy real one and was completely and pleasantly surprised to find the perfect one at Staples. It's polished silver with black trim and it looks great on my desk. It actually matches all my desk accessories. But the best part was the cost. I couldn't believe that such a great lookinig tape dispenser and Staples brand I mind you was only five bucks! It doesn't get much better than that!

The Staples Executive Desktop Tape Dispenser is a great addition to any office desktop. It is sturdy and stays on the desk when trying to get a strip of tape using one hand. It is easy to refill and there is no chance of throwing the spool out with the empty core of the tape. It is durable and makes a nice presentation on any desk with the attractive silver and black coloring and sleek lines. I highly recommend it to everyone.
