This Staples Executive Desktop tape dispenser is good simple tape dispenser. One of the best features is the built-in core that you should never lose...which I do frequently. Nice for the price.

I like the new tape dispenser that I recently purchased because of the sturdiness in weight. The dispenser stays put when I pull off a piece of tape due to the design that has the weight center low to the desk top. Don't you just hate when you go to get a piece of scotch tape and the entire dispenser comes dragging across your desk? That does not happen with this unit. The color is not flashy but subtlety sophisticated. Looks nice on my desk and functions great. Inexpensive to boot. Thanks.

I like the tape dispenser after I found out how to put the tape in the dispenser. There was no instructions on how to put the tape in it. I had to take back to the store to find out how to put the tape in.

I did not know how to get the spool out to load the Scotch tape. I knew it had to come out but was not able to take it out. I asked three other people and not one of them could get it out. They were afraid they would break it. Finally I took it back to Staples and the girl at the service desk took it out easily. She took it out in the opposite direction by pulling where we had been pushing. I think some simple directions would have been very helpful. If they can include a plastic bag with directions to keep it away from children in ten different languages they could surely include directions for getting the spool out to load the tape.
