We got a few of these for the office. They work great unfortunately I dropped one and it broke open and sand poured out. Sand is used to weigh it down. They aren't meant to be dropped. However I taped over the crack and it still works minus some of the sand!

Staples Tape Dispenser

This tape dispenser is very durable and long lasting. It withstands A LOT of use for I am a kindergarten teacher and I put it to use quite frequently. The black tape dispenser matches my other desk accessories. I have bought three of these in the past three years. Two for home and one for school. I plan on buying another one soon for my teacher assistant. This tape dispenser has remained sharp with the use of any brand of tape that I have used. I would highly recommend this brand. It is very inexpensive.

How many times have you searched for that role of tape and when you found it you had to search for for that invisible end of the roll and then when you did find it have to scrape that end to pull off the roll and get to your task of taping. It's the last thing you need to deal with when you already wished you had three hands to do your task. This dispenser takes care of you problems. It keeps you tape where you'll need it. A very practical item and at a great price. An added feature is a roller mechanism that you not lose. Solving the problem of accidentally disposing of that part.

This tape dispenser is reasonably priced and does its job as well as any. You can’t go wrong with it! It is also heavy enough to stay put for one hand dispensing when wrapping presents.
