It took me a few tries to figure out how to remove the cylinder that holds the tape! I looked on the box to see if there were directions. It looks like you have to turn the cylinder but it really just slides out. I felt a little silly once I realized how simple it is. Overall nothing fancy but a very useful item.

Perfect because the tape on buying is one inch and this product was the only one that holds one inch tape that I could find.
