The motor is louder than my old 900. The cups in my old one had marking levels. This one doesn't.

Too big, too weak

I really dislike this blender. I primarily use it to make smoothies, and it frequently does not completely blend my frozen bananas, regardless of how much liquid I add or how long I run it. Also the containers are just too large. They don't fit in a cupholder and they're rather large for my hand. I believe the diameter is about 12 inches, when 10" or less would be preferable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not easy

As great as this blender is removing the lid or blender is trash. Force is the only way of getting it off. There is nothing to put on anything to easily remove it. It’s poorly designed for people little grip strength.
