We purchased our 1st unit 4 years ago and the motor finally gave out after daily use. We recently bought our 2nd unit and this one has a slightly larger engine. Not that the old one was inadequate but we just though stronger would be better. We love this machine and eat much healthier breakfasts. It performs many tasks for us.

I just received the NutriBullet PRO for Christmas and so far I am very happy with it. It was simple to use and put together. I love that it comes with a to-go cup that I can take to work with me. I used it to make a gatorade slush as I am pregnant and having trouble keeping down any fluids that aren't semi-frozen. I was happy to see that it blended all of the ice completely. I can't wait to make smoothies with this to go along with my healthy eating plan after the baby.

I have had mine for 9 months and use it every day. However a few months ago one of the 3 contacts that turn it on started sticking and gradually it became almost impossible to turn the machine on. I returned it to place of purchase for an exchange, no questions asked. Brilliant! am hoping the new one works as well but without the stuck contact problem.

My older, less powerful Nutribullet was much better than the PRO version. Right out of the box, the rubber washer on the blade attachment came out, there's no putting it back. Annoying but so what. Everytime I use it, I smell burning rubber. I thought that would go away, but it hasn't and now I don't think it ever will. Lastly I have to tighten the container with all my strength before I use it, b/c the thing is so powerful that when you turn it on, the action actually loosens the container from the blade, and the thing leaks. I've learned how to deal with it, and it's a first world problem for sure but you asked for a review, here it is. It makes an awesome smoothie and that's what I want, but when this thing dies in a year or two I will look at other options. I think it's just too powerful, and it's not necessary. You put a jet engine in a passenger car that doesn't need it. I would buy the original Nutribullet over this one if I had to do it again.

The Nutribullet Pro is an upgrade for me. I've been using the Magic Bullet for the past 7 years, which was given to me as a hand-me-down, so it was 10 years old and still running. I just wanted a bigger container, and a sharper extractor blade, which the Pro has. I really like it.
