You may have broken one of the plastic tabs off near the rim of the cup. Turn the cup 1/3 turn to the next tab.

The blender works quite well. I have been using it almost daily for the past several weeks and it blends most mixtures excellently. Occasionally, it does leave thicker sections in the smoothie.
This wasn't a real negative to me but the recipe book that comes with it is a joke. It is more infomercial than recipe book but since I was buying it for blender I didn't really care.

I've bought two NutriBullet Pros over the past two years and am extremely pleased with their build and performance except for one minor issue. I've had to replace the extractor blade mechanism on each machine after a year in one and after a month in the second because the rubber gasket falls out. As long as the machine is under warranty, this is only an inconvenience waiting for the new mechanism. Otherwise, the NutriBullet Pro works as advertised and makes great breakfast smoothies.

i had the basic model and gave it to my sister. Bought this one as an upgrade. It has a slight "burn" smell that I hope wears of do the new. Other than that it is awesome.

I bought the 900 series 1.5 mo the ago and have used it daily! No matter what I seem to put in it for ingredients, I never ha r to worry about lumps! My smoothies come out awesome! The reason I did not give 5 stars is because I strongly dislike that it only comes with 1 travel lid! Like really, if you provide 2 cups, provide 2 lids!!!
