I no longer use the Nutribullet regularly as it is too difficult to clean satisfactorily. Food residue remains under the rubber gasket or ring. I'd asked for feedback and was told not to remove the gasket. Someone wrote in and said they always remove the ring in order not to cross contaminate two different kinds of Nutribullets prepared. A few times the gasket popped out while I was using it and I was able to put it back on, so afterwards I continued to remove it carefully after using it. However, I don't know if this has resulted in a less complete seal when using it. There is simply no way it comes clean unless that rubber gasket is removed. Bad design flaw. However, the unit does process produce/fruits/nuts/seeds thoroughly, even fibrous foods like celery or ginger root. Disappointing as I was thrilled at first, until I recognized the cleaning issue and did not feel comfortable using the unit unless I could clean out the residue under the rubber gasket for fear of mold growing underneath.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have enjoyed the NutriBullet very much. Easy to use and easy to clean. However, i did spill the contest one time and am now having quite a difficult time with it.

I bought the NutriBullet 900 a year ago and use it nearly EVERY day! It leaves no gritty texture and if used as the directions indicate, works wonderfully. I had a couple issues when it wouldn't start. I called Customer Service (I had registered my warranty and sent in a copy of my receipt) and they told me how to remedy the issue or sent me a replacement part immediately. I did NOT have a problem getting through to Customer Service and they were VERY helpful. I have to say, I was totally impressed with Customer Service and surprised, after reading so many negative things about them. I have a large family and there at least eight of us who use the NutriBullet and LOVE it. Extremely easy to use and clean. I am hard to please and I can't say enough about this product. There is nothing I don't like about it.

Have had mine for four now and, when I am done mixing and try to release the unit, it will not shut off.. I have to unplug it to turn it off.. Otherwise, I love it!
