I am impressed at the ice pulverizing capabilities of the NB. However, it needs a better ´washer’ Or ´gasket’ to prevent liquids from seeping out as it’s blending. I often find myself with a mess when ai remove the container from the base.

Horrible for “on the go”

We have been using the original Magic Bullet forever to make our morning shakes that we’d take on the road, but the stupid plastic tabs on the mugs kept breaking. We decided after spending so much on replacement mugs and watching the prices go up, it was time to upgrade. The Pro seemed like a good option, but unfortunately we didn’t think it all the way through. First, these have the same design of plastic tabs, albeit they might be a bit thicker, but I’m sure they too will break. The most disappointing thing about this set, however, is it is NOT made to take on the go! Look carefully at the picture: you have a choice of a handle OR a lid, and the lid SUCKS! Already spilled twice with little protection. And the mugs don’t fit into any cup holder and are nearly impossible to carry with one hand while juggling a briefcase or purse.
If you intend this only for home use, it’s great - much better motor and such. Otherwise, for our use, we should’ve stuck with the old bullet and saved our money to buy more mugs.

Had the pro and it burned up after 32 days of use. Used it to make our morning shakes. Never held up to the use. Never really like the rubber gasket because it always comes off and lands in my shake. Bad design

I waited quite a bit before leaving my review, I did not want to be a consumer who bought something and gave it a great review; just to have something happen and wish I had not posted. In my opinion (for whatever it is worth), this is a good little machine. I make (2) pitchers, large enough to last two weeks (16oz. from each container, twice per day); so doing this it is a lot to run through it at one time. I find that for me it tends to overheat, it will automatically shut down until it cools down, because of this my rest time between "large" cups to be chopped is a little longer. BUT, if you are not mixing "large" quantities you will be just fine. I have chopped: seeds, EVERY fruit I could think of (one of my 16oz. cups is spinach & fruit based, and the other is spinach & vegetable based). Saying that, I have put ALL leafy products through it, and many other vegetables (onions, carrots, celery, peppers, cucumbers {fyi, cucumbers tend to foam up and fill cup with froth so break up in doses}). Not sure what else to say....it was worth the cost, and yes if this one goes I would buy another one. P.s., if you use it the way it is intended you "should" not have any issues, the only compliant you might have is that the lid is tough to get off, just unscrew slowly, from the mixing process it is under a little pressure, I usually spray myself green. Hope that gives you some insight :-)

I previously had the red bullet for several years. It recently broke so I decided to upgrade to the Pro. I find that the top does not screw on tight no matter how tight I screw it on. Every time I blend my shake, it leaks all over in the machine. I am thinking either the ring is defected or this is really a poorly made product.
