Just received this for a Christmas present and was so excited. My girlfriend has a nuribullet that I used when staying with her that prompted me to ask for this present. So disappointed. It did not blend everything, even when moving things around. Only frozen item was loose leaf spinach, then it died on me after charging all night long. What a joke.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not worth the price.

First time I used it, it was fine. The next day, same ingredients, and it showed all different lights, then the red flashing one. it showed fully charged. I took it back to the charger, then tried it again. What a mess. After half an hour, it finally started up. Wayyyyy too many lights. And to wake it up and then press button, what could be easier? NOT!! very disappointed.

A weak motor - hard to crush ice cubes with yogurt and milk. Needs to be recharged often and needs full charge to have the weak motor

Nice mixer, needs careful cleaning

I bought the nutribullet Flex about a month ago and have used it pretty much every day since to mix a protein and fiber shake. Most things about the mixer work great. I actually really like that it is powered by a rechargeable battery, because my kitchen is in an old house and there are relatively few power outlets. The charge lasts for a couple of weeks for mixing a single shake every morning, which is great. The size is perfect as well for my needs.
My biggest complaint is that I realized a few days ago that protein powder had collected at the bottom of the mixer around the screw-off blade assembly and had actually spoiled. I thought I was rinsing all of it away, but apparently not. Because I hadn't noticed this for a while, the bottom blade assembly has now acquired a nasty smell. Vinegar has not so far been able to eliminate the odor. You don't notice it when the mixer is assembled and you make a shake, but now I realize it is very important to disassemble the entire mixer every time you use it to make sure you clean out the bottom from any accumulated food gunk — and then let it dry completely. If it spoils, it seems to soak into the softer rubber parts and then becomes permanent.
I would recommend this to a friend!
