Good blender, use it everyday but…

Have had it almost a year. Good machine; no mechanical problems at all.
But…
The 16 oz cup is unstable. Tall and narrow, very easy to tip over.
The above cup and the pitcher are plastic. Given the amount of (micro-) plastics in our foods, it seems unreasonable to make a choppy-choppy blender that will add more plastics to our menu.
And being plastic, I expect the cup and pitcher to develop spiderweb fractures and then fail in the near future.
But…

Replacement blades?

Full of maggots! I bought this a few months ago and loved it. I've been using it often all summer. I typically give it a thorough rinse after I make my smoothie and wash the blade every couple days. Today I pull my blade from the dish drying rack and notice some good along the bottom, not the blades but underneath. It still smelled so I took it apart to see if there was residue stuck in it and to my horror it was full of little worms. I don't want to be wasteful so I thought I'd buy a replacement blade and I can't find anything compatible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Blender but…those cups!

Absolutely love this blender! The one drawback is the inability to purchase additional cups. This blender gets a lot of use in our house and we have now purchased 3 of them just to get the cup- very expensive alternative way to get cups! After a period of time the cup prevents the blender from working. I know it sounds crazy but we have interchanged all the parts on the multiple blenders we have purchased and the base and blades work with the pitcher but stops working with the cup so we end up buying another unit to get the cup. We have called several times but are continually are told the ability to purchase additional cups is coming. We have been waiting months. We offered to buy over the phone and they would not allow us to even do that. Love this blender. Please please start offering purchase of replacement cups!!!

I purchased this model and the small blender cup cracked in its 2nd month while blending.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can't crush ice, no accessories

No ice crusher attachment. There is one for the personal model but it doesn't fit.

Need replacement/extra cups

Love the blender: hate that I can't purchase cups or replacement blade to go with it. Or to use the cups i had with the original magic bullet. Now, this does make one heck of a smoothie.

This company used to be good but must’ve gotten acquired because my last one lasted 20 years and this one overheats and shuts itself off almost immediately (5-10 seconds is being generous) rendering the product USELESS. Total disgrace.
