Quite articulate and truthful sound

First, I am very satisfied with the purchase. Second, I tried Bose and Sony Top tier over-ear headphones with ANC and I was not happy with the overall sound out of the box. That is without EQ and sound effect tweaking in their according apps. Each had their own unsatisfactory sound reproduction flaws. I won't go into detail as I feel it is more of a preference.
Then after watching reviews and doing light research I decided to give JBL Tour One M3 a try. I never had this company's headphones before, so I was quite excited.
Finally I got them. I downloaded their app (JBL Headphones) and it connected to the device right away without any issues. The sound out of the box is FLAT and not everyone is going to like that. But the moment you connect it to the app it all changes and they become very pleasing sounding. There is a great 12 band equalizer, so that you can fine tune these bad boys to your personal liking. Also it has the LDAC codec support which accents the overall experience just so much more. Giving a richer bass and crisper highs and more pleasing mids. I am listening to music I've heard a million times and I am noticing new instruments with this headset. The sound stage is pretty great as well.
P.S. If you have access to a device that has Dolby Atmos function these headphones will blow you away under the Jazz setting in the presets.
The build quality is up there even if it's all plastic. It feels quality and High End. Latte color is stylish and "out there", it's pleasant to hold and look at. The black looks a little too regular, but still sleek and classy.
To each their own.
Their battery life is great. With ANC on it is 40 hrs which is very good and with it off it's whole 70 hrs.
Overall I don't consider myself an audiophile by any means, but I feel these are the truest sounding over-ear ANC headphones for this amount of money. Yes, as I mentioned their quite FLAT sounding out of the box and not a lot of people want that. However if you just take the time and use their app, you will definitely appreciate these headphones a lot more. I assure you of it.
