Our new candy apple red snow cone maker is making the head of the household very happy. In the past Riley was offered a dish of ice cubes at happy hour that had been wrapped in a tea towel and smashed with a meat tenderizing hammer resulting in an inconsistent array of ice chunks. As anyone in the middle of middle age knows, crunching on ice can lead to expensive dental work. Now she can enjoy a dish of perfectly ground ice. The Dad and MommaBerry also seem to enjoy the "snow" after adding a bit of their adult beverages.
This is our third Cuisinart appliance and it is as well made and well engineered and attractive as the microwave oven and the coffee maker. Thank you for manufacturing appliances that offer good quality for the cost.

I bought this 13 months ago and started having issues one month ago. I couldn't locate my receipt to check on the warranty.

Very easy to use. Pull out shaved ice drawer makes all ice accessible. Can use regular ice cubes, I didn’t want to have to use molds like in other brand models…that limits you on making lots of snow cones. This was perfect and what I was looking for. Easy to clean…highly recommend.

Great features/ blade replacement ?

It's a great product and works very efficiently. Our grand-kids enjoy it very much. I like the safe design of it as well. My only future concern is that there does not appear to be a way to obtain replacement blades when the time comes. It's such a waste to have to trash the whole machine for lack of blade availability.
