It's good quality, very dense.

Since I have been using it I don't wake up nearly as much from pain as I used to. I read other reviews about the topper not fully expanding, not mine it didn't take much time at all to completely expand. There is a chemical smell, and that does take a couple weeks or so to go away, had I got it during the Spring instead Winter, I could have had the windows open to help air it out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you're reading this you likely suffer from back/neck/hip/overall body pain like I do. Unfortunately I am not in a position financially to buy a bed so the topper was seriously the next best thing. I bought a new spring mattress recently and actually developed new knots as a result, I convinced myself to continue sleeping on it and "break it in" for 2 months before finally giving in and buying this topper. I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT SOONER. The first night was pure heaven. It did make me a big warmer at night so we turned the air down a little, but it is seriously like sleeping on a complete Tempur-Pedic mattress and I dread the thought of having to sleep on any other mattress now or get out of bed! My back and hip pain are gone in the morning and it has significantly helped with my neck pain (clencher/grinder and just overall anxiety tense sleeper).
I would recommend this to a friend!

My wife loves the mattress topper. However, I am not fond of it. I have back problems and should have gotten the split king topper instead of the full size one piece king topper.

Very Disappointed

I purchased this topper to replace a 4" tempurpedic mattress topper I had for 15 years. I wanted to upgrade as I needed softer relief for aching back & hip joints. I ordered the 3" tempur topper & at first I liked it because it had a softer feel for hip problem. Then I began to notice how difficult it was for me to get out of bed. The topper foam softens after sleeping on it, it's like getting out of a bowl of jello. I also noticed when I use a heating pad, the foam collapses even more. This newer foam can't compare to the 15 year 4" tempur topper which is denser foam. Unfortunately after two months, my hip & back problems got worse. I contacted Retailer where I purchased & explained situation. They wouldn't help me, said 30 day return policy. I am now using my old tempur topper which provides support. It might be suitable for someone who does not have back or hip problems. I'm disappointed for losing the money & because I really tried to like it.

I read the reviews and was eagerly awaiting delivery not only of the topper but the pillow too. I set it up as instructed. First night I tossed and turned and awoke with a headache and neck hurting but hey first night in a new bed right. Second night I was up at 2:30 in the morning pushing the thing off my bed and throwing the pillow off after it. I had such a headache from the pillow and could not get comfortable on the mattress. I have had buyer's remorse before but this purchase was really disappointing. I also received the slippers in this deal and even they are not comfortable. So sad since everything seems very well made and the delivery was fast. Totally regret the purchase.

We have a California King and we ordered the Cal King topper. It is entirely too long and not wide enough. The edges curl up in our face when we lay on it. It now resides UNDER our mattress. I have emailed Tempur-Pedic twice with no response. Your information states that only mattresses can be returned, which is absurd, however, since we are stuck with this worthless, heavy monster and I suppose we learned a valuable lesson...

No more lower back pain!

I wanted a new mattress, but couldn't fit that in my budget right now. This topper fit my needs perfectly! It is incredibly comfortable and has provided just enough hip / lower back support to eliminate the pain I used to wake up with in the morning. Thank-you for making such a wonderful product!

Smell is Not Acceptable After Airing It Out For Over 60 days

I had purchased 2 tempur-pedic twin sized toppers in 2013. Both of these have been great. Bought a full-sized mattress, and it hasn't as comfortable as the model in the store. I tried one of my twin sized toppers on it and it was terrific. So there was no need to return the mattress- just use a topper. So, based on my happiness with the 2013 purchase, I purchased a full-sized topper from tempur-pedic in late December, 2018. Well, since 2013, it appears that tempur-pedic has changed the formula and this new topper has a smell that will not go away. Also, it is not quite as comfortable as the 2013 topper, but still would be fine if not for the smell. I don't recall any smell on the twin sized toppers from 2013. The full sized mattress is also some kind of foam or gel and that had a smell, but that disappeared after being aired out for 2 days. Now I can put my nose right up to the mattress, and no smell. In contrast, I have been airing out the new topper ever since late December, and there is still a lingering smell that I can detect once my nose gets close to it. And after sleeping on the new topper for 2 days, when I took off the top sheet and the mattress cover, I could smell that the odor had built up under the bedding. I am afraid the smell is indicative of cancer causing chemicals in the topper and I very highly doubt I will use this topper again. If tempur-pedic will take it back, I will do that. If they won't take it back, I will air it out for another month, but if it still smells after that, I will just put it in the trash. For now, it is back to the twin-sized topper from 2013 on a full-sized bed. Comfortable sleep, even if I don't use the entire bed.
