Purchased the adapt topper for coolness. It makes it so slippery, the mattress slips off the bed and the sheets pop off. I purchased jersey knit sheets which are better but still pop off. Although a return has been offered, I would prefer you fix the problem. I bought this product specifically because of the cool cover.

Be carful sitting on the side of the bed. The topper is so soft you tend to slide off of the bed. We purchased the topper because our tempur- pedic mattress was out of warranty and had developed a sagging pattern in the area where I slept each night. We thought the topper would be cheaper than buying a new mattress. It was cheaper but it did not solve the sagging problem. My wife is not dissatisfied with the topper, but I sure am.

This mattress topper has the classic tempur feeling, which is a slow sinking type of memory foam (if you ever felt their pillows or beds, you know what I mean). I love this compared to other memory foams. It is not too soft either, which I really like. I wouldn't want this any softer than it already is, or it won't feel supportive enough. My girlfriend is around 120 pounds and I am around 175 pounds -- we both found it incredibly comfortable. The cover is also a very high quality knit and is removable/washable. The initial smell lingers for about a week, but it didn't bother me too much. I didn't find it too hot either, but definitely warmer than my plain old spring mattress. For the price I bought it for (discounted to $240), it was well worth it. It also 3 inches, which is thicker than competing brands for the same price (usually only 2 inches). If your mattress is too hard, I completely recommend this topper to completely transform your mattress. (I can't comment on longevity, as I've only had it for a couple of months, but I believe they have a good warranty...)

We have an adjustable air bed whose pillow top was not soft enough. Problem solved, we have been sleeping very well for the 6 weeks that we have owned this with longer & more restful sleep. Soft but very supportive, does not sleep hot, and has a very good warranty! Love it so far!
