This topper is well made and worth the $$$. Smell took about a week to fully go sway. I have a very hard mattress and thought this would be soft enough to have some comfort. Alas, after 4 weeks of trying to get used to it, I gave up. It has the wonderful TempurPedic feel, but I just don't sink in enough. My neck and back were even more sore. Maybe because I'm small, 102 lb; I'm not sure. I'm thinking it'd definitely work for someone heavier, or on a softer mattress. At any rate, this will go in the guest bedroom and I'll get a softer regular TempurPedic mattress set soon. I am not even deducting any stars as I would still recommend this.

Ppurchased the topper with cooling for a queen size bed. i would say it is ok. I own several tempurpedic mattresses in my home, which I am very happy with. The topper was purchased to go in a guest room that has a Stearns & Foster mattress. The topper provides a little added cushion, but becomes a little "mushy" after sleeping on bed a few times. Not the tempurpedic quality used on their mattresses.

We had the original Tempurpedic mattress for 17 years and were very pleased, however the topper is not the same quality. It is almost 4 inches too short and almost 3 inches too narrow to fit properly on our current mattress. I can't sit on the side of my bed without trying to slide off.

You are crazy if you don't buy this topper. It is truly amazing. Just buy a firm mattress, and then get this topper. You can stop blowing all your money on mattresses that don't work. These intelligent scientists finally got it right. These are so comfortable that you won't want to get out of bed. I love it so much, I bought one for my aging parents...one of which has a prosthetic leg. They love it! I'm telling you... it's a game changer. It's so soft on joints, and you don't feel your partner move. (This is only the first review I ever gave!)

Always look forward to getting in bed and just getting into the right position. It's getting into the right position that sometimes is hard only because I've had a full knee replacement. But after five weeks after surgery that is becoming less of a problem. My daughter and her husband bought one at the same time and we both agreed that we glad we did. A better night sleep always helps in the healing process. I forgot to say my son-in-law also just had back surgery so we compared notes on the comfort, he feels the same way about our purchase of the toppers. Hope this helps someone making a decision.
