Paraplegic who is big on pressure relief

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a paraplegic, so my mattress is a really important thing to me. I am young, generally athletic and independent, allowing me to use a "normal" bed, but I still have to be careful about my skin. This topper has been just wonderful. Supportive, comfortable. After laying in one spot for ~4-5 hours, I'm never stiff. Here are the downsides/challenges: Because of the softness, it can be more challenging to move around in, but just as with anything, you figure out your hacks. I use a cutting board under my hand when I transfer to give me a harder surface - whatever works! Lastly, it is HOT. It retains a lot of heat from your body, which can be great in winter, but a little hard to manage in the summer. People with spinal cord injury have a harder time regulating and sensing body temperature, so I often wake up in the middle of the night just broiling and covered in sweat. Just takes some practice in anticipating how many covers I need based on the temperature. Again, you figure it out.

Best sleep ever!
