Does not give comfort as advertised

I am 5'8'' and weigh 175lbs. Within one week of using this topper, I was sinking in as if sleeping on the sand on the beach. This turned out to be the most uncomfortable sleep ever. If I rolled over, it was like going uphill. The center of the pad would raise up between my wife and I. How uncomfortable. So heavy yet it slides on my mattress. Did not enjoy this topper when it was on the bed and was just as bad taking it off. Sorry but do not purchase this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Like balsa wood on a beach

Our Tempurpedic mattress topper is like the equivalent of placing a piece of thick plywood on an existing mattress. I can literally knock on my bed. It's not firm, it's hard. Yes, you can fall asleep on it, but If you have ever slept on a floor you'll know the feeling. It takes longer to fall asleep and you wake up sore. There is nothing comfortable about the mattress topper.

My wife and I have owned multiple toppers from various brands. This one is the most expensive and also the worst. Before ordering, we had the impression this was medium-firmness but, upon unfurling it, it was notably hard. We have had it now for a few months and it has not improved/broken-in. Ouch - pressure points. It also slides around and we have to re-position this heavy beast about once per week. Not big fans, to say the least. We will be replacing it soon. On the bright side, the Cloud pillow that was free with our purchase is great, extra star for that.

Feel Stuck

I love my mattress, but with the topper I sink in much too deep and it's hard to get out of bed in the middle of the night. Once I get back in, I have to find a new spot or I'll be back in my little hole. It is now on my guest bed.
