This is my second topper from Tempur-Pedic. The first one was perfect -- it supported me, while providing relief from pressure points while I slept on my side. I loved it so much that I recommended it to everyone I knew and bought one from my dad. I purchased this second one because my elderly cat was way too sick on my first one, I had even moved to the couch for her last few months, when she passed I put this new topper on my bed. Immediately I saw how flat it was and knew it would probably need a couple days to get up to shape. I let it unfurl for 3 days, it NEVER filled out the cover (still hasn't a few months later) and it compresses to almost nothing when I sleep on it. I now wake up in pain most mornings. I reached out to see if it was under warranty, pretty much the only way I'd give the company another chance, i'm not shelling out more than $500 for the same risk. They said I didn't meet their 10 year warranty criteria. I'm done. I am actually going to tell everyone I recommended this thing to about my experience. To say i'm disappointed is an understatement. The only solace to losing my beloved elderly cat was that I could reclaim a good night sleep again. Now I don't even have that. I feel both unsupported when I sleep and by the company that sold me this product.

Tempur-Adapt Mattress Topper. So uncomfortable! It's not 3 inches and it's so soft and floppy I just sank to the bottom and I only weigh 116lb. I've been on it for only 30 minutes and my back already aches. The top cover is thin and insubstantial and the bottom cover stiff with uncomfortable folds that can be felt right through. I've had other Tempur-Pedic products in the past, including a mattress and a topper, that were wonderful so I know the difference and there is no way that this is memory foam. No returns so beware.

We purchased the XLTwin Topper for my side of our very uncomfortable king mattress. It has made a big difference in my sleep comfort. I no longer wake with aches & pains. We are now going to order another for my hubby's side of the bed. We are very pleased with our purchase & it is worth every penny for a good night sleep

I do not wake with back pain anymore and my husband no longer has trouble with his arm falling asleep during the night. However, I am disappointed with the cut of the topper. It curves in the center several inches to an hourglass shape. Therefore, part of the mattress is uncovered. Also, the elastic holds it on but the topper still slides around. However, the main goal was to relieve pain and that has been achieved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Tempur-Pedic mattress was originally a king size....but when my husband passed away a few years ago I moved and the big bed would not fit my apartment bedroom.....so, I had it cut down to a queen size..... I found the Queen topper the perfect way to extend the use of my mattress until I can afford the purchase a new queen mattress in a few years.....it was the perfect solution ...I love it I have recently advised a friend to buy a king size topper for her bed ....she loves hers also.... PS....buying on line and getting the topper delivered was another solution that suited me perfectly Thank you, Nancy

The topper is thick, soft and gives the best back support. Being pregnant I could not sleep comfortably until I bought this topper. It has changed my life. It does give off more heat while sleep at night so I would recommend the cooling aspect if you can afford the upcharge but otherwise no complaints.
