We both have arthritis/stiffness issues and had been waking with stiffness and pain in the mornings with another topper. We were considering the pricy option of purchasing a new mattress. However, from the first night of sleeping on the Tempurpedic topper, we woke up with considerably less pain and stiffness. We recommend it for a better nights sleep!

The product provides a layer of comfort to our extra firm mattress. We liked the firmness until we began to age and required a bit more comfort on top of our firm mattress. However, when the topper arrived in the package was information that the topper could not be used with electrical wires because of possible fire. This information was not included in the online literature describing the features of the topper. If it had been, we would not have purchased it because my husband is cold natured and uses an electric blanket to "take the edge" off of the coolness of the sheets due to arthritis. I also enjoy getting into a warm bed but I can turn off the unit so I don't sleep with the electric blanket at night as my husband does. Also, the material used in the topper has an aroma to it that is noticable to me especially when it gets heated by a person's body heat. It is winter now but after a few hours sleep the bed get heated by body heat and can become TOO hot. This will not be acceptable in the summer months although it is tolerable in the cooler seasons. Knowing these things, I would not purchase this product again. However, it is well made, visually attractive and easy to install on top of a regular King size mattress. The cover can be removed with a zipper so it can be washed which is another nice feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still having problems scooting to the center of my queen sized bed. I get stuck on the way! I do love the comfort once I'm settled in. My aches and pains dissolve, turning over is easy again. How do you spell relief? T E M P U R - Topper.
