[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It makes your actual mattress better and softer, I'd recommend that your mattress is medium or firm and not soft, because then there is not much difference, you would be just adding more height to it.

I got one firm which I like but the second was soft which I don't like. I wish that Tempurpedic would allow a choice of firmness in toppers but they don't.

The topper was a great find. It solved my "too firm" mattress sleeping problem immediately. However, I use an adjustable bed and there are no straps or any apparent way to hold the topper in place when going to zero gravity or raising the head and foot positions to varying settings. With COPD and emphysema, it is difficult to continually have to attempt to adjust the topper back into position.

Pretty much I'm a side sleeper which means a lot of pain and an interruption of sleep. Since I started using my mattress topper I am falling asleep faster, sleeping more consistent, and sleeping on both side and back without so much pain. I even have a hard time leaving my bed in the morning. Good thing I'm retired and sleeping in a little later or just enjoying the bed is not a problem.
