[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been sleeping on a 50 year old mattress and this helped but after a month, broke down and purchased a new temper mattress. The topper did help but hard to evaluate its total value under the circumstances. It did seem to sleep a little warm, which would be great for our winters, but think would be too warm for summer.

I have suffered weight loss over the past 7 years and could not get comfortable in my bed. I have a very nice mattress that has now been enhanced by the topper. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I agree with other reviewers who say the topper appears too firm at first. I thought I'd make a mistake ordering it. Once settled in for the night the topper cradles your body and no more joint pain from side sleeping. My husband is a back sleeper and before the topper he had low back pain. Now it's gone. Very pleased with it, plus a ten year warranty!

We thought it would make our aging mattress more comfortable, but it was so mushy, we ended up with torn shoulder muscles and stiff necks. We had to take it off our bed after 2 weeks, and now we have a large expensive piece of foam that we can't return and don't know what to do with. You get 2 stars because the ordering process was good, and the product shipped within a few days.

We need something more firm where you don't sink in and it's hard to pull turn yourself over....too soft. If you really love soft this is a good topper to buy. Not for us.
