[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a person of a mature age I was experiencing chronic back pain from over exertion. Rather than purchasing a new mattress, I decided to try a mattress topper. After extensive research and reading many reviews I decided on Tempurpedic. After unrolling the topper, I noticed an unpleasant odor which I read was very common. However after about 12 hours the odor dissipated and I was able to sleep without noticing any odor. I found the topper to be very comfortable. After a few nights I awoke without the chronic pain I had been experiencing. The topper also seemed to help with stiffness I felt in my hips. I am very pleased with my purchase.

We were disappointed that it wasn't the product we expected. We wanted it to really firm our mattress. While it is soft and comfy, we wanted a much more firm topper.

I have owned this topper for about two years now and can honestly say it is the best thing I've ever done for my sleep. For a while I was suffering from hip pain whenever I would lay on my side and it would make laying down in bed extremely uncomfortable. I purchased this topper hoping it would alleviate some of the pain and oh my gosh did it help. Every time I get into bed it feels like I'm sinking into a cloud. Like sugar melting on your tongue. I am now very pregnant and don't even need a pregnancy pillow to get a comfortable sleep. If you're able to, also get the pillow that comes with the mattress topper it is a game changer and no one else is ever allowed to use my pillow. I'd give this 10 stars if I could.
