To be clear, I am a Tempurpedic STAN! I have purchased two beds, multiple pillows, and the eye mask from Tempurpedic over the years, and I adore those products. However, I purchased this Tempur Adapt Topper and was completely shocked at what a NOTHING product it was. There was barely anything to it. When I unpacked it, at its fullest size, the enclosure was loose and floppy AND it was SO THIN I could pinch my pinkies together from top to bottom with no resistance. In short, it felt like a very thin blanket with ZERO extra support. But I still LOVE my other Tempur products - and that is worth a second star.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely not firm at all! My back hurts worse now than before I bought it. Complete waste of money. Do not recommend.

My roommates bed had started caving in a bit so I got the mattress topper. Very nice and comfortable. Not as firm as I was expecting but still helpful. I'd say if you sleep anywhere close to "hot" do not get this one and invest in a cooling topper. This one does run a bit hot

Our mattress was starting to get a little too firm for us after 3 years and decided to try this topper out. GAME CHANGER...don't even hesitate, just buy it already. Trust me.

We ordered the Tempur-Adapt Topper and we have slept so well since we put it on our bed! We no longer wake up with lower back pain. I highly recommend this!!!

This mattress topper has made my sleep so much better. I don't feel the lower back pain that I used to with just my bare mattress. One issue is that since I sleep alone the mattress topper kind of shifts when I sleep and I have to adjust it back to the center every couple of days.
