Sleep much better

I was having trouble sleeping through the night my hip and shoulder would ache and wake me and I would have great difficulty getting back to sleep. I bought the topper in the hopes that it would give a little more cushion to are rather firm mattress. It does an excellent job. You sink into it and it cushions you and cradles you so that you don't get sore spots while sleeping. I find I toss and turn much less and get closer to a full night sleep. I wake with much less pain and much more energy since getting the topper...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not what I expected.

The overall construction of the topper was excellent, however I found it to be too soft and too hot to get a good nights sleep. The softness was constricting for side sleeping, allowing for a feeling of confinement and not a cozy comfortable embrace. When lying on my back their was no problem, but I am strictly a side sleeper. I paid extra for the "+ cooling topper" but it heated up to a intolerable level. This was in a house with a night setting of 62 degrees F, a ceiling fan on in my bedroom, and the use of one top sheet and plush blanket. Of note, with the same parameters and no TEMPUR-Adapt+topper on my mattress I have no issues with excess body heat from the bedding. I do weigh 187 pounds and maybe if TEMPUR-PEDIC offered different levels of firmness with their toppers the side sleeping issue would not have occurred. The heat issue could still be a problem though. Since there are no returns allowed for toppers other than damage from shipping or initial construction this topper has been consigned to the guest bedroom. My guest will then have to make a decision to leave it on or take it off the mattress when they visit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleeping so much better on this topper. My only complaint would be one of the straps won't stay under the mattress.

I have bad shoulders ( side sleeper) and hips! The Adapt mattress is just heavenly! Woke up from first nights sleep less pain! After 3rd night no shoulder or hip pain!! Not only stopped pain but extremely comfortable like a cloud! Heavenly was my first thought! Mine had no smell after airing out for just few hours!

Game changer

I was looking to replace a five year old mattress that had a pillow topper that was completely depleted. The Tempur-pedic pillow topper completely saved this mattress and I feel confident I'll get another 5 years out of it. (at which point I will be purchasing a Tempur-pedic mattress.) I've never slept so good! I'm used to going to nice hotels and wishing I could have the same mattress but for the first time I went to a hotel (Ritz Carlton), and was disappointed that the mattress didn't feel as good as this pillow topper!

It was very easy to set up. The topper is very comfortable and supportive. The value was fantastic. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this mattress topper to anyone looking for a better night's sleep.

Best money spent in ages

I purchased the topper and the cooling accessory, having no idea that I would be diagnosed with lymphoma the day after we received it. The diagnosis was a gut punch, and after a stay in the hospital and innumerable tests, I was released and the mattress comforted me for about a 6 hour nap. My wife's sleep and relief from stress and pain has been terrific. Great product.
