The 3 inches of foam don't seem to flatten or bottom out, which makes it a good option for softening up a too-firm mattress. It does not make the sleeper overheat and it comes with a removable, washable cover. The Tempur-Pedic also has a 10-year warranty.

While the topper is sturdy and well made, it made the bed just a bit too high for them to comfortably get in an out of the bed. Also, we needed something that gave stability, not softness. If you have a rock hard mattress, this would be a dream!
