[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 48 yrs old and have had hip surgeries on both hips and I am in need of another surgery. I am not over-weight and weigh in around 130 pounds. I have been miserable at night while sleeping for many months, as both hips are so painful to lay on. I tried a few mattresses online and sent them back so I went to the store this time. I tried the tempur-pedic in the store. I lay there for about an hour on my worst hip and surprisingly, it was the best bed I have ever felt. Unfortunately, it was way out of my price range and I went home trying to figure out what I could do to get it so I could finally have a comfortable night's sleep. I got onto the website and saw the 3 inch toppers. So I decided to buy 2 and save up money to purchase the full mattress when I could afford it. The first night I slept on 1 topper as the other one had not arrived. It really helped my sleep and the pain in my hips was eased. The second night I received the second topper, and wow! What a difference that made. This topper was amazing and my hips are not "hot" in the morning. I am so excited that I can sleep on my side with little or no pain. Looking forward to the day I get to experience the whole mattress! Thank you Tempur-Pedic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this after much research because I have been experiencing back pain each night on my (old) Sleep Number bed. I was so hopeful that the fun lion of this memory foam would help alleviate the pain, but unfortunately it did not work for me. Although overall it is comfortable, the back pain still persists.

Quality and Comfort

I purchased this 3" full size topper based on reviews of a more comfortable sleeping experience for people like myself who suffer from sciatica. The topper did make a big difference. However, I should have considered more closely those review addressing the heat comfort level. Unfortunately, I had to remove the topper b/c of severe restless sleep from being overheated. I think one should consider for yourself if you are a person who is more "warm blooded,." This may not be the topper for you. But if that is not an issue for you, hands down I would recommend this topper. Well made and worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I love tempurpedic (grew up with one as a child) but I can't afford the mattresses today. We have a decent mattress, but thought a topper from tempurpedic would make it better. Unfortunately this topper, though soft, when it finally contours, it is basically flat and just your mattress anyways. Additionally, it is 2-3" short on all sides, but Tempurpedic says that is within their "acceptable range." Sad. Lastly? This thing is hot!
