[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress topper did what I was hoping it would do- alleviated back hip pain. We have a good mattress but it's a little firm and I've been experiencing pain at night while I'm trying to sleep. The topper has helped tremendously and is very cozy too. The extra thickness took some getting used to but overall I'm very happy with the purchase!!

First (and last) time that I'm using this mattress topper

I heard great things about the beds and was really excited about using this topper to help a bed that is too firm. I woke up in so much pain the next morning that I decided to never use the topper again (after only one night of use). If it helps any, I'm 5'6 and weigh 125 pounds. The website does not accept returns so, unless you already know how this feels, I would recommend ordering through another store that carries this brand and will gladly accept returns - just in case it does not work out for you as well. There's at least one big national chain that provides full refunds of Tempurpedic toppers if it does not work out for you (even if they are opened and used), but I mentioned the name in an earlier review and Tempurpedic did not post my review, so reposting my review without the name this time.

No Support and No Cooling

I really wanted to love this mattress topper. Unfortunately, the lack of support produces pain in my hips and shoulders. I also paid extra for the cooling top and it was very cool the first night, less cool the second night and now (3 nights in) not cool at all. When I called their customer service line they said there was nothing they could do and they will not accept returns. Be very sure you want to have this topper forever regardless of if it works for you or not, because you are stuck with it.

This has changed my life dramatically. I am 83 and I would wake up with sore hips and lower back. I would use several products to help aliviate this problem. I do 30 or 40 minutes of yoga and stretching moves to continue my active life style. Since I have used this product, I no longer wake with sore hips or sore lower back. I am currently swimming 1.2 miles, 4 days a week. Playing golf 3 days a week, and walking twice a week. Thank you for the product. Life is good.

The reason I gave 4 stars has nothing to do with comfort but the size of topper it is smaller than our Queen size mattress and doesn't cover our matress completely. But other than that it's great.
