[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the topper to try and avoid getting a new mattress for the guest room, but it's so soft that it only added to the discomfort of the old mattress that was in there. I ended up purchasing a new mattress which is quite firm, so I'm hoping the two balance each other out, but it's still way softer than what I would care for if it were my every day mattress. You sink into it and then there you are....it's hard to roll over. Unless you don't move much at night, I wouldn't recommend it.

My mattress started to cave into the center and I was waking up with so much back pain/was restless all night. I didn't know how a mattress topper could help that situation, but decided to give it a try. It's a game changer. I now can't wait to get into my bed every night!

Great for Side Sleepers!

I am a side sleeper and have been having issues with hip pain lately. I cannot sleep without waking up in pain. Our memory foam mattress is less than ten years old, in great shape, and pretty comfortable overall. So, buying a new bed was just out of the question. However, it is just a little too firm for my hips as of late. Started doing a little looking around for toppers. I came across this and read the reviews. I decided to give it a try. I am happy to say that I no longer wake up with throbbing hip pain, and I can sleep much faster. I have noticed that the cooling part does help a bit, too. Not as much as I would have liked it to. I have tested their cooling mattresses in the stores and noticed that that cooling technology seems more advanced than this one. That is the only reason not to give it the full five stars. If they put in the newer advanced cooling technology, it would definitely be five stars.
