Too Soft

I was starting to wake up often when sleeping on my 12 yr old tempur-pedic mattress so I decided to give the mattress topper a try. Unfortunately, the topper is just too soft and doesn't provide the support I need as a side sleeper. I also noticed the topper doesn't bounce back very well. My side of the bed has a permanent dip. I don't think the topper is worth the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only con is that we literally do not want to get up in the morning. It has been a complete gamechanger. It's like sleeping on a cloud or floating on air when you sleep on this thing. It probably sounds pretty lame, but the highlight of our day is crawling into bed at night. Hands down, the absolute best purchase we've ever made.

Since I have started using the topper, I am sleeping better, not tossing and turning and now have 4-5 hour stretches of uninterrupted sleep which has been amazing. What a difference this topper has made. I would highly recommend to anyone. It has just the right amount of give and is super comfortable. It is making a real difference for me. I wake up feeling more rested and ready to start each day. Great product, well worth the investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this mattress topper for our pull-out sofa/bed and used it on top of an IKEA memory foam topper as well for extra cushioning, as I'm bed-ridden for 4-6 weeks after my knee surgery. After 3 weeks of heavy use, I would consider it quite comfortable overall. I still need to change positions after sitting upright or leaning back on it every few hours when it bottoms out, due to higher concentration of my weight on my backside for an extended period of time. However, lying down, I don't believe that it bottoms out on me at all at 200 lbs., but I do start to feel too hot after a few hours and need to move or keep a leg out of the duvet for temperature regulation. The topper does feel cool to the touch on fresh spots, but the effect dissipates after your body temperature warms it up. I still recommend this product, but DEFINITELY SPRING FOR THE COOLING MATERIAL. Also, please note, it comes rolled up from shipping, but you're not supposed to roll or fold it back up when it is not being used, as they say it will compromise the material's effectiveness.
