We ordered the Tempur-Adapt + Cooling Topper as a last resort to make a brand new mattress work. We had originally thought we would purchase a Tempur-Pedic mattress but when informed by the salesperson that our slat base on our bed frame would render the guaranty null and void my wife tacked left and chose another mattress. What was chosen was a mistake - we like a firm mattress but should have also had a pillow top, an option that wasn't offered. So after many attempts to make a very expensive mattress work with custom wool toppers, gel foam toppers as well as various other pads we ordered with fingers crossed. It has exceeded our expectations. We are finally sleeping comfortably after almost a full year of experimenting. This topper has made what we considered one of our most expensive mistakes into a bed we can at last sleep in again. I would say if you are looking for comfort on a too hard mattress then this topper is for you. We love this topper and when the time comes will adapt our slat base to accommodate a full Tempur-Pedic mattress.

Couldn't stand this topper! It made the sheets slip around, and we were waking up several times a night to tuck the sheets back under the mattress. Took the cooling topper off and just using the tempurpedic topper now. Slippage is way down. Was a total waste of money, as it's not returnable. I don't recommend buying this product.

While we do love our king topper it is too bad that it could not be ordered in a firmness other than Medium. The one on our queen is Firm and honestly is a better product for us.

I am 170lbs and this topper is not able to support me. I woke up with back, shoulder and back aches for the entire month. I felt the pains after the first night but gave it more than my fair trial. I is not what I was looking for. For this price point, you are better off investing some more money and purchasing a mattress.
