Cool, Cool, Cool and comfortable

I was skeptical that this topper would be better than what we had for half the price. The one we had, although foam, was much thicker. I was also skeptical that it would be cool since the one I had was advertised with a cooling topper and I was always waking up sweating. Not only am I demonstrably cooler each night, but somehow this topper that's not quite as thick as my old one is much more comfortable. My only complaint is the wrapping it comes in. It comes in a cardboard box with another cardboard box. The topper itself is wrapped in enough plastic to wrap my entire king size bed over and over. The wrapping on the topper is so tight it was exhausting removing it. Then the topper has to be stuffed inside it's cover for another marathon event. Make sure you have help. In the end it was definitely worth the extra effort. My sleep has improved.

I love the comfort of this topper is wonderful. All stars. The problem I have with it is that the topper sure slides around too much. I've recently had surgery and when the mattress topper slides, one entire side will have all blankets, sheets and the topper hanging over one side, even sheets on the ground. Seems to me that with such an awesome and expensive topper, there should be straps or something to hold them better.

We bought our second Tempur-Pedic mattress about two years ago. It's the Tempur-Pedic adapt Firm. Honestly It's not as comfortable as our original Tempur-Pedic mattress that we bought in 2005, I think that was the Cloud. So we bought the firm because over time our previous mattress was sinking under my husband, we believe, due to his body heat, when he sinks into the mattress, it causes my back to be unaligned and hurt. Although the Tempur adapt Firm is what we wanted, and it is FIRM, it's almost too Firm, we're older and my body hurt's from too much firmness. So one night when I woke up not being able to sleep, I bought this topper. I was super excited because when I opened the box it looked like the topper on our first Tempur-Pedic. However, it is way too mushy and makes my back feel unaligned again sleeping next to my husband. I have been a big Tempur-Pedic spokes person over the years. I have even encouraged a few couples to buy a mattress themselves. However, we have been disappointed with this mattress topper and honestly disappointed with how quickly the new mattress is already breaking down under my husband. It took a few years for the original one to do that. I weigh about 130 and my husband weights about 200. We're not sure if it's the weigh or how hot of a person he is that makes the mattress become mush under him. I am always cold and have not had any problems with the mattress becoming mushy on my side of either mattress. I hate to say it, but I am disappointed and probably would not buy another Tempur-Pedic mattress/or mattress cover.

We had purchased a new mattress less than a year ago. We realizes almost immediately that it was not working for us. Too many restless nights and waking up feeling joint pain. We purchased the king Tempurpedic Topper with the cooling feature and it has been wonderful from night one!! Restful sleep and no more joint pain. I can honestly recommend this product to all who need a good night's sleep!!

I am almost in love with this topper. It is soft yet not too much so, comfortable and cool. It has made a difference in the way I sleep for the better and if I could afford a mattress I would go the whole way...The two complaints that I have are that it slides around horribly and everyday you have to take the fitted sheet back before you make it and pull the topper back into place. I don't know whether they have some thing that eliminates this problem but after you spend the money to buy the topper I don't feel like I should have to spend anymore to keep it in place. The other complaint is the bounce back is slow. It seems as tho it doesn't come completely back up or that it just takes awhile...

I love my Tempur-pedic mattress (Contour Supreme) but this topper was awful. Waaay too soft w/no support. I'm better off sleeping w/o it. Obviously couldn't return it because I think there are some laws against it so I'm using it as a floor mattress for now but will probably toss.
