We love our Adaptive cooling mattress topper. My wife has lower back problems and has benefited greatly. I am a side sleeper and used to have shoulder pain, but since we got the mattress topper my pain is gone. Now I don't have to count sheep to fall asleep. We are very happy with our purchase.

It has been pretty nice and is kind of cooling. I get hot easily, so the cooling cover helps. There is only one major issue. It moves..... a lot. Since it doesn't come with a mattress pad to secure it to the bed (like my previous one did) and it is recommended NOT to use one, it moves and disrupts the fitted sheets. So much so, that my fitted sheets keep coming off which is extremely annoying. With my old topper, it was a lot heavier and thicker so it couldn't really go anywhere. This topper moves frequently. I may just use a mattress pad to secure it better or duct tape. The topper is a decent topper. It supports my bad back fairly well. If you want to go price and comfort comparing, if possible, test them out in person. Even if that well-known mattress shop is a front for something else, they still have real products to test. Overall, if you really want one, you might just go for the mattress. The topper will be cooler, though. Unfortunately, I am not being compensated for my honest review. I would like to be as I need to do dishes and my plumbing needs work.

The cover on the topper is slick so we had to buy sheet clips to hold the sheets on the bed. We have aking sized bed and it doesn't fit the bed perfectly. We have about 4-6 inches all around where the mattress doesn't fit on the bed.
