While we wanted the same mattress for a beach condo we didn't want to pay that much on a mattress which wouldn't get used a lot. So we went with the topper and its amazing. You squish right into to it like a cloud! Soft but still slightly firm. Definitely recommended as a cheaper alternative.

Unfortunately, it didn't change anything in terms of temperature, I feel no difference between the cooling topper and my actual mattress. I give it three stars because it's still quite comfortable.
