Impossible to secure

This topper moves every night - simply sitting up in bed causes it to slide down and the straps come off. It also slides sideways leaving an uncomfortable gap of several inches. Even my extra deep sheets come off and I need to pull it up every night - it is heavy and difficult to move. I misunderstood the return policy - although mattresses may be returned toppers cannot - I read reviews here and recommendation sites and thought I'd made a choice that would ease pain and improve sleep. I was wrong and will be giving this away.

I have been able to get more sleep and it is the most comfortable topper I have ever owned. Fits perfect on my mattress and stays in place.

I had one that was defective. Without asking for it they replaced it & I am so pleased with the replacement. It's so comfortable & much cooler. So very happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The foam pad we had before just wasn't cutting it. Our mattress isn't old enough to justify replacement. But we bought Tempur-Pedic mattress pad with cooling. I haven't slept this good in years. Also got the pillow what a difference.

The top QUESTION for me when it comes to comfortable sleep is, how to get the right mattress so that it's not too hard or too soft. Over the past 5 years I had gained about 15-20 lbs and was approaching 50. I noticed that with the extra weight, a softer mattress wasn't working good for my bones and my back was always hurting. I purchased a FIRM Doctor's Choice mattress and then found that it was too hard. I tried to give it 30 days, but even after a few months I was still not getting comfortable sleep. One night, while perusing the internet, I came across a Tempur-Pedic add for their toppers. I thought, maybe this is the answer? I purchased the 3" cooling topper and I know have the perfect bed! I don't like to be hot when I sleep and this is an excellent way to sleep on a firm but soft mattress, and stay cool. I even used flannel sheets in the winter and stayed just the right amount of cool for a GREAT night of sleep! What an amazing product, especially for those of us who don't want to purchase another mattress to try and get the comfort level just right. This is my ANSWER to a great night of sleep. Thank you Tempur-Pedic!!

Consistency of pudding

Very disappointed. I have always had Tempur mattresses and loved them. Thought a topper would have the same quality. When I unwrapped this, I noticed that it had the consistency of pudding. I phoned Tempur and asked them to take it back. They refused. So I tried it out. Exactly like sleeping in pudding. LUMPY pudding. One sinks deep down, and lumps form everywhere. Aching bones in the morning. Will store and reserve for the event that my worst enemy comes to spend the night.
