I purchased this topper for use in a new 5th wheel camper. I THINK it will turn out fine - come summer. However, on our first "shakedown" trip with the camper the temperatures were in the low 20's as we drove to our destination. Obviously, while driving, we do not run the heat in the camper so the temperatures in the camper were in the 20's as well. What we found is that when this topper gets cold it becomes VERY firm ... Think concrete here! Once we parked and got the heat inside the camper up to normal levels the topper returned to it's famous and quite comfortable consistency. This is NOT a complaint. Think of this as a caveat to anyone else wanting to use such a topper in a similar manner. (It never occurred to me it might do this!) Be prepared to wait until your unit is up to normal temperatures before you can comfortably use your bed! I suspect that come next summer, and warmer outside temperatures, this will not be an issue at all.

This topper was supposed to be firm and it is NOT. It has caused me to have much worse lower back issues. I had to remove it. My mattress underneath it is NOT old and sagging, I wanted a topper to protect and save my mattress but cannot use this one. I'm 5'9" and 130 pounds so not heavy enough to cause a firm topper to sag as this one is doing. I sink so low into it, it's hard to turn over.

Get the cooling version of this mattress topper. This one is way too warm, making it absolutely unbearable to sleep. And of course, you can't return or exchange it because they consider it "personalized."

Tempurpedic has a Stellar reputation for top of the line products and you can't go wrong buying any one of their products. I also bought the cool pillow. I have purchased other very expensive pillows from various places but this Tempurpedic cool pillow is my favorite.
