I was a little nervous purchasing this topper. I have a king bed that in great condition it is still fairly new and it is pillow topped, but nonetheless I would sink into it in a way that left my back and hips hurting quite terribly. To note: I am female, 140lbs and have back and hip pain already since having my 5th child but trying to sleep I would toss and turn through out the night trying to get comfortable. I knew there was no way of getting a brand new mattress (wasn't sure that would even help) but I thought maybe I could try a topper. So I ordered this one hopeful it would. Oh my goodness did it ever, the first night I slept on it I slept solidly with out tossing and turning. I had not done that in a long while. It was like I melted into it. In a good way, not a sinking way. It supported my hips and back. It was unbelievable. I have had it for a few weeks now and still I am talking about it to everyone. I can't believe how good this product is. It does sleep kinda warm I saw other reviews mention that. Not to bad but they do have one that is cooling, so if you are a hot sleeper might want to think about that. It is very thick and I was afraid of like a smell but nope no weird smell to it. I just rolled it out and in 12 hours I laid down on it and got the best sleep I had had in while. Get it try it I don't think you will regret it! thank you Tempur Pedic I love my topper!!!

I got this to replace a 12 year old 4" memory foam topper that was losing its "memory." I also got the cooling cover. The firmness is back and the topper sleeps cooler, however, the darn thing keeps sliding over. If it wouldn't slide so much (I have to readjust it EVERY day), it would get 5 stars. If it needs anchoring, that should be included not a requirement if the consumer to try to figure out.

I'm a heavy person and this mattress topper does not work for me. My actual mattress is very firm so it's fine, but this topper doesn't offer any support whatsoever. I did my research but at the end of the day, I decided to gamble and buy a famous brand. Sadly, that gamble did not pay off. Sadly of course, I cannot return this. Be very mindful when shopping. Also, this topper IS very hot. Best to upgrade with the cooling option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
