Beware if You are Replacing an Older Tempurpedic Topper

I’ve happily used a Tempurpedic topper for years and decided to replace it. The new topper is an inferior product. It is much softer compared to the older one. One edge was cut at a slant. The zipper pulls so hard on the case it can barely be opened. The new topper sags from the middle like a wet noodle when we rolled it up to move it - the old one maintained its shape in a roll much better. Beware if you are replacing an older topper - the quality is not the same. I won’t use the new topper.

Very comfortable

It took a couple of days to get used to the difference it made. This is so comfortable. We have had other toppers over the years and what a difference a 3” topper made. I love how quickly it goes back to normal when getting up in the morning and that it has a removable cover that can be washed.

I have chronic back pain and have never had a good relationship with any bed. I would have a time limit being in bed before my back starts stiffening up. I was getting 5 hours tops of sleep every night. I tried a tempur pedic mattress at friends house and that was the best sleep I’ve ever gotten. I didn’t have the money to splurge on a new mattress so I gave the topper a shot. It feels just like the mattress! I’ve never thought I’d have a good relationship with my bed again. I’m getting more sleep with less wakening in the night now. I honestly look forward to sleeping now! Best decision I’ve ever made!

When I received the Mattress Topper, I laid it out and waited to use it until it got to 3" thick. At that point, I placed it on top of my mattress, and it was a bit too big, but that didn't matter, as I put one side over towards the wall, and you couldn't even tell. The first night it was a bit hard, but as the days go by, it is now great to sleep on. I have back problems, and this has helped bring the pain down, and I have been sleeping a lot better. I've had it for almost a month, and I love it. When you get out of bed, it goes right back to being 3" and feels brand new when you get back in bed. It's a queen in size but my bed is a queen and the topper is a bit big, but that's ok as it stays in place and doesn't move. I would recommend it for sure!

I let it sit out for a week and the off gassing didn’t end. Maybe I’m sensitive to smell but the chemical smell is unbearable. Also memory foam is not for me. It depresses where your body is instead of providing a cozy cushion. They would not let me return after using one night (under a sheet). Trying to sell locally. Would not recommend. Bought a wool mattress pad that is heaven.
