Firm topper is not firm like the mattress, it's too soft, can't pack it up or I would send it back.

After having 3 consecutive major open heart surgeries, I was left with a LOT of time in the bed. This topper was perfect to turn my cheapo bed in a box type mattress into something comfy. But, beware, whether you buy the cooling version topper or not, temper foam products sleep HOT. But kudos for comfort, very much needed and

piece of junk. save your $. not the quality that I'm used to from past purchases. Tempur-pedic will not honor their product (topper) and I will never buy another product made by them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first night I woke up sore. Then it was good for a couple weeks. After that, it got so soft my hips dropped in a hollow and resulted in terrible pain. Unfortunately, it was more expensive than most toppers, but I thought since it was Tempurpedic it would be worth the cost- it wasn't. I have slept on a straight no frills Tempurpedic for 9 years now and love it. It's almost time to replace it. I want the same mattress without all the fancy hoopla, but I don't they make that anymore.

It is soft enough that I feel cradled in butter and my husband can also sleep peacefully without any back pain from sinking through it. I have a sofa where it is difficult to sleep on, but with this mattress I solved the problem and now I can have guests at home without needing to buy a sofa bed! Also, I love that I can roll the mattress easly and store it under my sofa! It is so easy to store!
