[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 48 yrs old and have had hip surgeries on both hips and I am in need of another surgery. I am not over-weight and weigh in around 130 pounds. I have been miserable at night while sleeping for many months, as both hips are so painful to lay on. I tried a few mattresses online and sent them back so I went to the store this time. I tried the tempur-pedic in the store. I lay there for about an hour on my worst hip and surprisingly, it was the best bed I have ever felt. Unfortunately, it was way out of my price range and I went home trying to figure out what I could do to get it so I could finally have a comfortable night's sleep. I got onto the website and saw the 3 inch toppers. So I decided to buy 2 and save up money to purchase the full mattress when I could afford it. The first night I slept on 1 topper as the other one had not arrived. It really helped my sleep and the pain in my hips was eased. The second night I received the second topper, and wow! What a difference that made. This topper was amazing and my hips are not "hot" in the morning. I am so excited that I can sleep on my side with little or no pain. Looking forward to the day I get to experience the whole mattress! Thank you Tempur-Pedic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have ordered about 6 or 7 tempurpedic toppers in the last 10 years. I used to love tempurpedic topper and recommendered to all of my friends. They are high quality high density memory foam better than other brands (I tried 3 other brands). However, the last two I received were way worse than before. I did a side by side comparison. The new one is significantly lighter and much softer compare to the older one that I ordered about 2 years ago. There is almost no support from the topper. Keep in mind, there is no return allowed whether you opened and tried to sleep on it OR still in original unopened package.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
