[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my wife has slept in her chair for at least 6-8yrs do to bad back, a fusion and knee replacement..but since i put this topper on she has been able to sleep in her own bed comfortably and without pain and discomfort..well worth the money and wishing i had done this sooner..i too suffer from bad hip and shoulder and have found myself sleeping more deeply and waking feeling refreshed , this topper does everything it says it will do..

I wasn't sure what to expect, but honestly I'm surprised how good this mattress topper is. It's wonderfully soft and I thought, because I'm an overweight guy, it was simply too soft and would provide little to no support, but I was wrong. It does compact under my weight but sill provides comfortable sleep. As for the cooling, I have had little success with such products in the past and again I was surprised. I find the cooling to be fairly effective, but with being a bigger guy it can only do so much. Overall it's a really great product and I'm sure for someone of lesser weight would benefits would be fantastic. I am a happier sleeper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my TemperPedic mattress topped for over a month now. At first, I really like it because it gave my mattress the extra cushion and support that I hadn't been getting. It's only been a little over a month and I feel like it has started to almost conform to my mattress. So where my mattress had some indentions, now this does too and it's already not giving me the support it did in the beginning. It's comfortable but it's not very supportive. I also paid an extra $90 for the cooling cover and I don't think it's made much of a difference because holy moly do I sweat every night now. So hot at night. I can't imagine how hot that mattress runs without it. I realize it's not a miracle product that's going to magically make my bed what I want, but I thought for what this mattress costs, it would be better. My biggest thing was I wanted to wake up without shoulder pain which I did for about the first two weeks and now it's like I'm sleeping right on my regular mattress again. Also, it doesn't inflate to the same width all the way around. It's 3" on some sides and like 2" on the corners and we let it deflate for a full 24 hours before we used it. It also doesn't fit my king mattress perfectly. It's actually about 2" short on the bottom. Not worth the almost $500 I paid. I feel like I could have bought one for $200 and got the same thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting to feel much more comfortable when sleeping on this thing, but definitely not the case. It is way too soft, and it sinks in dramatically to the point that I was experiencing lower back pain. I will have to see how to get rid of it.
