The 3 inches of foam don't seem to flatten or bottom out, which makes it a good option for softening up a too-firm mattress. It does not make the sleeper overheat and it comes with a removable, washable cover. The Tempur-Pedic also has a 10-year warranty.

I'm a lighter sleeper and would flip over often during the night and would wake a bit in the doing. In less than a week his pain has been relieved and I get comfy and wake in the same position usually only to use the restroom once. Very soft and conforms to the body while still feeling supportive. It's so odd, it initially feels rather squishy but, lay there a minute and you get that "aahhh" moment where everything feels better. So glad we got it, should have done it sooner!
