A great alternative to a real Tempur-pedic mattress

I have a new king-size medium firmness Tempur-pedic mattress... and a partner than snores. The mattress is one of the best purchases I've ever made, but unfortunately the snoring often results in me needing to sleep in the extra bedroom. I bought this topper to put over our firm Avocado mattress in the extra bedroom. My quality of sleep as improved significantly. To me, the topper is much softer than our medium firmness TP mattress. Even though I'd prefer it to be a bit firmer, it's a huge improvement. Overall I'd say this topper will improve any sleep situation, short of an actual Tempur-pedic mattress.

Third time buying this topper

This might be an "expensive" name brand product, but every mattress in my house is cheap or second hand for free. This actually saves money because especially when this topper goes on sale, it still costs significantly less than a "nice" mattress and feels like I spent thousands on it.
The only downside might be more of a "me problem" because it does slide down despite the straps. I do have to constantly pull the topper back up towards the headboard. So if you sit up in bed with your back against or mush your pillow into the headboard like I do, it might slide down and need to be readjusted. Having a tall foot board to hold it in place helps too. This seems like a small price to pay for a super comfy and cheap sleeping arrangement. But not everyone leans up on the headboard like I do. The fitted sheets pop off on me too so I just use a blanket or regular sheet that I can tuck in so it isn't too much of a pain to readjust. If you are crafty you could sew it right to the mattress. Guests staying for one or two nights on my guest bed don't have this problem so it works great for that.
Overall this is the best option if you want a name brand luxury sleep experience without forking over thousands of dollars. Especially if you can't even afford a bed or are a nomad and just have one of these on the floor. Great for college dorms and blanket forts.

I bought this for my 88 year old Mom to put on top of her hospital bed mattress. For various reasons she had abandoned her bed and was sleeping in her recliner. Slowly we worked her back to her bed and as her reward she got this topper. She loves it!!! Said it is very comfortable and makes her hospital bed feel luxurious.
My Mom is not easy to please so that’s quite a compliment. So far she is continuing to sleep in her bed and finds it very comfortable.

Finally no sweating at night

I have an adjustable bedframe and mattress. Forever it's always made me sweat slightly and with my new cooling topper it's like sleeping on a cloud. I now get a much more deep sleep, less turning, and dry. I would highly recommend one.
