I have a Tempur-Pedic queen mattress and bought this topper to extend the life as it started to sag. Unfortunately the topper is way too soft even though box said it is "Medium ". And while the topper has the cooling cover, didn't seem to make that big of a difference as advertised. Even worse, as I was rudely explained to via email, can't return or exchange due to return policy. If you can return/exchange the mattress after you've slept on it for 90 nights, how is the topper any different after 3 nights? Nonetheless I probably won't look at this product line once the pandemic is more under control and I feel comfortable going to a store for mattress shopping ( despite owning one for over 12 years).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The cooling cover was great, but the topper itself was way too squishy. Even though it's only 3", you sink all the way down and feel like you're in a hole. It takes effort to change positions. I was disappointed because I really loved my Tempurpedic mattress that I had for ten years.

I thought I sprained my knee in bed while sleeping. It felt like it was going to give out when I walked. I bought a cane. I went to visit my grandchildren. After sleeping on my granddaughter's memory foam mattress for a few weeks, the pain went away and I shed the cane. A month later, I came home and within 3 days the pain and limping returned. My Beautyrest mattress was only 3 years old. I bought a Tempurpedic topper with cooling gel. Within a week the pain went away. Ortho doctor said I have stenosis of the spine. The pressure and pain that was reflecting in my knee is gone with this Tempurpedic topper, and I have no pain and no limping. It's amazing.

I've been using these mattress toppers for over 25 years and they've really saved my back. This one seems slightly thinner than my last one. As far as I'm concerned it should have stayed exactly the same. I ordered the cooling cover this time. Can't say it seems any different temperature-wise and it is extremely slippery.
