[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased to upgrade guest room. This topper makes a real difference for a previously purchased Casper bed, which has not worked out very well. It just doesn't offer enough support. The Tempurpedic topper helped me optimize the guest sleeping experience at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

I was as looking to get a mattress topper for my Rhapsody bed I've had for a while, as we know these mattresses can get hot. I love my tempurpedic bed so decided to give their "cooling" mattress topper a try. 1st issue: the cover was difficult to put on, the zipper head came off the Track and had to re-apply it. Took a good 20 min. 2nd issue: the cover also feels cheap, it is very slippery, feels like those old polyester socks my grandma used to get me for Christmas. 3rd issue: it slides off the bed, I'm constantly having to rearrange it, pulling it over from the other side, again, the topper cover is very slippery. 4th issue: it's hot, there is NO difference in this topper and my bed, what a waste of money. These "cooling" toppers don't work, how can a memory foam dissipate heat, laws of thermodynamics dictate that you have to exchange the heat, I should have known better. But it is a high quality topper, it doesn't work as advertised but they do make good memory foam. Just don't fall for the "cooling" gimmick.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Okay but Disappointed topper slides off bed

If the topper was an inch thicker and had straps to keep it in place it would be a perfect solution to an uncomfortable bed. The topper makes the bed feel more comfortable but if you toss and turn at night expect to readjust it a few times a week because it easily slides around due to no straps. This is idea for a guest bedroom but if your buying it for yourself I highly recommend just buying a Tempurpedic mattress. I recently replaced my Temperpedic with a different brand and have regretted it ever since.

Bye Bye Sciatica!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This by far is the best purchase I have made for a bed in a long time. It immediately fixed my sciatica issues and I knew that it would as I slept on it at a friends house and wondered why I had no trouble with my back on her bed. She told me she bought these for every bed in her house. The only issue is that I do get hot sleeping on it even with the cooling cover. Every memory foam I have ever slept on has this issue of retaining heat for some reason. I would trade heat for pain relief any day of the week.

I feel like a child getting a gift!

I had delivered to my parents' home in January 2019 an adjustable bed with a brand-new "hard" mattress, thinking my elderly dad would return home from the hospital and could be bed-bound in the new setup. My dad did not come home, and six months later I lost my momma. I inherited their home, which included this brand-new bed. The hard mattress has been so uncomfortable and did not present me with sound sleep. I was desperate for help and not wanting to get a new softer mattress for a queen-size bed and one that went on an adjustable bed due to the huge expense. I spent hours searching "mattress toppers" and reading their reviews, only to end up having my second voice tell me "don't do it." Tempur-Pedic was the last mattress topper search I went to and I liked what I read in the reviews and also said to myself, "This company has been around for a long time." I was shocked for my order to arrive in three days! I was expecting a long wait. When I saw the boxes on my front porch, "child-like excitement" started! I proceeded to get my bed fixed up with the topper, and it laid out so very nicely; and I had no trouble getting it into its cover. From there, I secured it under my existing mattress pad, and then put my top sheet on, which has big pockets. Everything fit perfectly. I slept in my "new" bed last night; and when I sank into the cushy comfort, feeling no pressure points, I fell asleep with a child's excitement! My topper was also feline approved. I cracked my windows open and ran a fan in the room to air out the newly-unwrapped topper , as it does have a varnish-type fragrance, which I was totally expecting to encounter. Today, there is no odor; and if I detect any as I got to sleep tonight, I expect it will keep dissipating. I was also treated with a bonus Tempur-Pedic pillow, and I let that air out yesterday outside. Golly, it too was so comfortable! I would include pictures, if possible to load them in the review, to show how my fitted sheet with the large pockets fit so well and how the topper itself was true to size and to its quality. (10-10-20)
