I thought that this topper, because it was a Tempur-pedic, would be perfect and I was willing to spend quite a bit more than I might have for a topper from another manufacturer. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I expected a firm topper, similar to the Tempur-pedic mattress I had in the past. The one I bought is too soft. I wake up with a back ache every morning. I'm disappointed, at best. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to write this review.

One of our beds is a Tempur-pedic mattress which we love but the other is not so we bought a Tempur-pedic topper. It was so awful that after the first night we used it, we called and requested a return. It didn't stay put on the bed and slid all over the place and was anything but cooling. We were so disappointed.

After a considerable time of suffering with debilitating back issues, I purchased a mattress topper. Thinking it couldn't make things any worse and being willing to try anything- I was willing to give it a shot. To my delight and shock, almost immediately I got relief! The realignment and lack of pressure on any pressure points has diminished my pain level significantly. I've been able to get a full nights sleep for the first time in over a year! Pain nearly gone--good rest-well constructed cooling topper --excellent! Put as a topper on a new very expensive, highly rated competitor's brand mattress that was supposed to be great for one with back problems and which for me had had no positive impact. The topper from Tempurpedic saved the day! Some of the best money I have EVER spent!!!!!

I bought this topper hoping it would eliminate me waking up with back and hip pain. The cooling option was a big plus. Night 1 was HORRIBLE. I tossed and turned all night and was oddly hotter then EVER. There is NO SUPPORT. My back hurts more then it ever has. After 1 night!! I am horribly disappointed and really can't believe that a company like Tempur-Pedic is selling this product. The price is a joke compared to the quality!! Even as I sit here, on the topper, writing this review, I feel like I'm sitting on a low heat heating pad.

We have had a Tempur-pedic mattress for 15 years with no issues. I figured the Adapt + Cooling Topper would be a nice upgrade; big mistake! There is no cooling whatsoever, I am even hotter at nights now more than before. I often wonder if they sent me the wrong product. In addition, the topper moves and I have to pull it back in place each morning. My husband now wakes up each morning saying he feels like he was beaten overnight. I am very disappointed with this product. It does not live up to the name, does not meet the stated objectives, and is not worth the money.
